Description

Matouk’s has been making condiments in Trinidad and Tobago since 1936, and their Hot Pepper Sauce — also known as Salsa Picante — is the most versatile in their range: a traditional Caribbean-style scotch bonnet table sauce with the thick, hearty consistency and bold pepper character that makes Matouk’s sauces perennial favourites. The mustard base gives it a tangy depth, while the scotch bonnet brings its characteristic fruity heat.

Outstanding on grilled meats, rice dishes, soups, stews, and as a table sauce on anything that could use a Caribbean kick. The 300ml format is the working cook’s bottle. Made in Trinidad and Tobago.

CONTAINS: SOY.

⚠️ Note: Colour not specified — verify against physical bottle. May contain Colour (102) (Tartrazine — Southampton Six advisory). Thickener code for Modified Corn Starch requires verification.

My 3rd time ordering this great product. I am from Trinidad and this is the authentic hot sauce we used on a daily basis. So glad to see it available in Aus at a reasonable price.

Great sauce, bit too expensive though.
