Melinda’s has been making flavour-forward habanero sauces since 1989 — and the Scotch Bonnet is their most Caribbean creation. The Scotch Bonnet is the distinctly fruity, floral cousin of the habanero, used throughout the West Indies in everything from jerk to rice dishes, and Melinda’s captures its character perfectly with a tropical fruit base of papaya and passion fruit that amplifies the pepper’s natural sweetness while the carrot base adds body. Turmeric gives it its characteristic golden colour.
Acidity Regulator (330) and Antioxidant (300) preserve the fresh tropical flavour naturally. Heat level 4/5 — genuinely hot but flavour-forward rather than punishing. Keto, vegan, gluten free. Superb in Bloody Marys and on everything else. Made the Melinda’s way.
