Jersey Barnfire sources their apples from Windy Brow Farms in New Jersey — a local farm partnership that defines their “seed to bottle” philosophy — and the Apples & Spice is their most seasonal creation, originally conceived as a holiday sauce. Local New Jersey apples provide a natural sweetness and body, brown sugar deepens that sweetness, and apple cider vinegar adds a complementary tartness. Then the Yellow 7-Pot Primo pepper arrives — a colour variation of Troy Primo’s Red 7-Pot Primo, with over one million Scoville units of building, fruity heat that’s genuinely unexpected against the sweet apple backdrop.

Outstanding on ham, turkey, and pork chops. A medium heat that belies the pepper’s true character — the apple tames it beautifully. Small-batch, locally sourced from New Jersey.
