Poirier’s Louisiana Style Creole Maple Hot Sauce pays tribute to its Louisiana roots and the tradition of Cajun cuisine with the added twist of some good old Canadian maple syrup! A unique blend of herbs and spices common in traditional Cajun cooking complement the rich flavour of fermented cayenne peppers. A subtle but sweet finish from the maple syrup combined with the bold heat of Smokin’ Ed’s ghost peppers lands this sauce right in between Poirier’s original Louisiana Style and its big brother, the KO edition.

While not for the faint of heart this version is very approachable for those looking to add a distinct but complementary heat to favourites like burgers and BBQ ribs, breakfast hash, biscuits with sausage gravy, and without a doubt fried chicken and wings!

Heartbeat Hot Sauce Co. was founded in 2015. A hobby of making hot sauce for ourselves at home quickly ignited into a full fledged production company after word of mouth spread throughout our home town of Thunder Bay and beyond. All of our sauces are made with maximum flavour and balance in mind. Each sauce is bright, bold, healthy, and deliciously unique. We ferment our peppers using traditional methods before we cook them with a few simple, high quality ingredients. We add no water, thickening agents or chemical preservatives of any kind making our sauce as natural as it gets. All of our recipes are proudly developed, cooked, bottled, packaged, and distributed from our dedicated facility in the South Core of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Our goal is to get Heartbeat Hot Sauce in to as many hands as possible, while maintaining our small batch process.
