Maple Wood Smoked Onion Hot Sauce started as a one-off batch flavour. Then folks wanted another batch. And another. It was around the fourth “one off batch” that the crew at Butterfly Bakery of Vermont realized that maple wood smoked onions and Vermont grown chili peppers makes for some fabulous hot sauce.

This became an immediate staple! Perfect breakfast sauce. Goes with just about anything. Heat is mild but that’s OK because I like to almost drown food in this! I didn’t think you’d be able to taste the smoked onions but you really can!
