Valentina Salsa Picante Mexican Hot Sauce 370ml

Valentina has been made by Salsa Tamazula in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico since Don Manuel Maciel Mendez founded the company in 1960. It is the most well-known salsa picante in Mexico and one of the best-selling hot sauces in North America — sold at a price that makes more expensive competitors look unnecessary. Six ingredients: water, Mexican puya chilli peppers (a medium-hot dried chile that gives Valentina its characteristic earthy, fruity flavour), vinegar, salt, spices, and sodium benzoate as preservative.

Zero calories, zero fat, zero carbohydrates. The red-label bottle is the milder version — still hot. Characteristically used in Mexico on chips, chopped cucumber, watermelon, oranges, and pineapple with lemon and salt.
