Lucky Dog Hot Sauce was Scott Zalkind's hobby for 7+ years. In 2005 he started developing recipes in his kitchen and on the backyard grill due to a passion for spicy food, a love of hot sauce, and a desire to create sauces with more complex flavour profiles than were available on the market at the time. As a Project Manager in health care, Scott's stress levels were off the charts, and hot sauce was his therapy. In June of 2012 Scott turned his hobby into a small business due to both overwhelming demand from those who'd tried his sauces, and a desire to not be a bucket of stress in his professional life for the rest of his days.
