Sean Evans breaks it all down for us as usual:

“Hey, what’s going on Hot Ones fans? It is that time for us to tune up the Scoville Symphony because what you’re looking at right here is the Season 28 Hot Ones hot sauce lineup. And I have to say, this one has it all. From OG makers to newcomers bringing next level heat to the most diabolical and insane sauce Hot Ones has made in its entire 10-year history. So, gather around the pepper fueled furnace. It’s time for another fireside chat.”

Dawson’s Coffee Date Hot Sauce

“And we kick things off with an OG maker. Say hello once again to Dawson’s Hot Sauce and Coffee Date. This right here is a pick me up in hot sauce form drawing inspiration from an unlikely source, the rich aromatic flavours of Turkish coffee. You have notes of sweet dates, pomegranate, molasses, smoked limes, coffee – they all come together for a low heat but luxurious kickoff to the lineup.”

Savir Foods Crema Macha Hot Sauce

“All right, moving on to sauce number two and we’re taking a trip to Austin, Texas. Crema Macha. It has a foundation that’s formed with avocado oil, Peruvian lime, and amarillo chiles while garlic and toasted sesame seed give it a tangy and nutty extra dimension. This right here is more like a creamy garlicky aioli compared to your natural hot sauce, but it is delicious and perfect at number two.”

Hot Ones Pickled Garlic Sriracha Hot Sauce

“All right, moving on to a familiar face. Say hello once again to Hot Ones Pickled Garlic Sriracha. Our spin on the genre takes the ripe red jalapeno base that everyone knows and loves and adds some extra pizzazz with a squeeze of key lime plus pickley garlic with a hint of dill to balance out the acidity. Pickled Garlic Sriracha. It’s in my daily rotation. It should be in yours as well. No big deal, but it is delicious.”

Chile Lengua De Fuego Passiflora Fire Hot Sauce

“All right, moving on to sauce number four. We take a trip to Honduras. Passiflora at number four is a complex blend of passion fruit, smoked onion, Honduran cane sugar, and scotch bonnet peppers. It’s tropical. It’s tangy. The perfect balance of fruit and spice. If you’re a sweet heat lover like me, then this sauce definitely belongs in your rotation.”

Neil’s Real Deal Chimichurri Habanero Hot Sauce

“All right, moving on to sauce number five. We’ve made it to the halfway mark. The husband and wife duo behind Neil’s Real Deal is back from their Season 25 debut. Say hello once again. Chimichurri Habanero. The Argentinian Chimichurri inspired sauce is bright and herb forward with a fiery twist thanks to a one two punch of habanero and ghost pepper. It’ll slap on your grilled meats. It’ll slap on your veggies, not to mention a good old-fashioned chicken wing.”

Hot Ones Tropical Amarillo Hot Sauce

“All right, moving on to the back half of the lineup. It made its debut in Season 26. it’s here again. Tropical Amarillo in the six spot. One of our Hot Ones 10th anniversary releases, this sauce right here brings notes of juicy, subtle sweetness from pineapple and mango, but some serious heat from citrusy peppers and toasty curry spices. It has that hit of onion and mustard. That’s the foundation of many Caribbean sauces. If Los Calientes is your sauce of summer, this right here, your instant tropical vacation.”

Hawaiian Hot T’s P.O.G² Hot Sauce

“And on the topic of tropical vacations, say hello, or should I say aloha to sauce number seven, Hawaiian Hot T’s. After living in Maui, Hot T’s husband and wife duo moved back to San Diego and created this sauce with ingredients inspired by a bartending stint. It’s a tropical remix of the island’s beloved passion fruit orange guava juice, but with a fiery twist featuring scorpion and ghost peppers. Tasty sauce, beautiful bottle, not to be played with.”

Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity Hot Sauce

“All right, moving on to number eight and I have a fun fact for you. Okay, so the longest career in sports history is Gordie Howe, who played 32 seasons of professional hockey. Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity – I know you’ll be thrilled to hear this – you’re right on his tail. This now marks the 27th straight season that Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity has reigned terror in the number eight spot. Gordie, watch your back.”

Karma Sauce Funken Hot Yellow Edition Hot Sauce

“Alright, bridging this firewalk from Da’ Bomb to The Last Dab, Karma Sauce’s Funken Yellow, a super hot that highlights the yellow Moruga scorpion. Blended with Fatalii peppers, lime juice, sugar, and spices, it’s a citrusy flamethrower that’s great for kicking up wing night or for large batch cooking like chili or gumbo.

Hot Ones The Last Dab Thermageddon Hot Sauce

“And now without further ado, I want to introduce you to a bottle that will completely change hot sauce history as we know it. This is it. The final boss of all Last Dab final bosses. Say hello to Thermageddon. Created in partnership with Smokin’ Ed Currie. The Last Dab Thermageddon is officially the hottest Last Dab ever created. Forged in fire from the four hottest peppers on earth: Pepper X, Apollo, Carolina Reaper, and Scorpion. It’s not just a mash. It is a catastrophic medium of capsaicin. Each bottle is packed with fresh pepper mash, pepper powders, and a pure pepper oil for a slow burning, soul searing, full body singe. Thermageddon is not just a sauce, it’s a reckoning. Dab if you dare.”

“And there you have it, your latest fall/winter collection of runway models which will be serving up nothing but spice all season long. And you know the drill by now. If you’re seeing this, that means that the Season 28 premiere of Hot Ones will be next week. That’s right. Next week, we’re going to be bringing you white whales that we’ve caught. We’re going to be bringing you curveballs. Maybe even some Hot Ones legends will be returning. But you’ll find out every Thursday for the next three months at 11:00 a.m. “
