Hot Ones Season 19 Hot Sauce Lineup Revealed

2022 is slowly drawing to a close and there is just enough time for one more season of Hot Ones before the new year.

Sean Evans has just announced the new hot lineup for the upcoming Season 19 of Hot Ones and it looks like it might be Hot Ones’ tastiest season ever with a real focus on flavour as well as heat.

As Sean explains:

“Typically when we do these sauce reveals we haven’t shot any episodes of the upcoming season yet. This time we have. I’ve tried this lineup in action, and I’ll say this: the best tasting Hot Ones gauntlet that we’ve ever had in the history of the show and I’m not sure that it’s close.”

Hot Ones The Classic Chilli Maple Hot Sauce

“Let’s dive right in, and I know that you clocked it the second that you opened up the video. The Classic in its lead off position… but with an orange label? The Classic continues to evolve with the brand new Chilli Maple edition. We’ve been chasing the perfect sweet heat combination for years now and I think that we’ve really cracked the code. You have maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Fresno chillies from the legend Smokin’ Ed Currie himself. I’m a sweet tooth, call me biased, but to me, my favourite version of The Classic that we’ve ever made.”

Sinai Gourmet Tropiqanté Hot Sauce

“Alright, movin’ on to number two. Sinai Gourmet Tropiquante. It joins us from Montreal, Canada but the flavours come straight from the tropics. This sauce features a blend of fruits like mango, papaya, banana, and then it also has some scotch bonnet peppers so even in the two position, you’re reminded: you’re still on Hot Ones. If you like, like a mix of banana ketchup and hot sauce then this right here is the sauce for you.”

Piko Peppers Piko Riko Hot Sauce

“Alright moving on to sauce number three, and I just don’t throw out compliments like this okay, but I mean this. When I tried this sauce I immediately thought to myself, Mount Rushmore right here, Pico Rico in the three spot. Top five hot sauce I’ve ever had in my life. Piko Peppers, Piko Riko, it’s simple yet potent balancing savoury and acidic notes of garlic and lemon juice with just the right amount of habanero heat. Piko Riko, Piko Riko, Piko Riko, Piko Riko… say it ten times fast with your mouth on fire.”

Hot Ones Los Calientes Barbacoa Hot Sauce

“Alright, moving on to number four. Smouldering its way back into the lineup, Hot Ones Los Calientes Barbacoa. Our smokiest sauce of the season thanks to the flame kissed flavour of applewood smoked red jalapenos and dried chipotle chillies. Welcome back to the table, old friend.”

Fly By Jing Sichuan Gold Hot Sauce

“Alright, moving on to number five, very interesting sauce here in the number five spot. Now if you’re a First We Feast completist you probably remember Jing Gao, she appeared on Feast Mansion with Rich Brian and Joji. She taught us the art of the Sichuan Hot Pot, she’s since then built a sauce empire with her brand Fly By Jing and Sichuan Gold, crafted in Chengdu. It’s the first time China’s famous numbing spice has hit the Hot Ones table. It has an oil base, very interesting and unlike anything that we’ve really ever done in the Hot Ones gauntlet, so keep an eye out for very, very unique reactions to our number five sauce in the season nineteen season.”

Chile Lengua De Fuego Turmeric Bomb Hot Sauce

“Alright, moving on to the back half and we bring back one of our favourite Honduran hot sauce makers. Turmeric Bomb does what it says on the label, blasting you with turmeric and then rounding out the wellness meets pain vibes with ginger, scotch bonnet, chocolate ghost, and jalapeno peppers. Turmeric Bomb, it isn’t Da’ Bomb, but still… a very intense way to kick off number six.”

Karma Sauce Cosmic Disco Hot Sauce

“Alright, and moving on to number seven, At this point, Karma, first ballot, Hall of Fame Hot Ones hot sauce, and it returns here in the seven spot. The latest from sauce maker, former NASA engineer Gene Olczak, is a celestial mashup of two of the most popular sauces, Cosmic Dumpling and Scorpion Disco. This sauce right here takes savoury, soy citrus notes and then they combine with red jalapenos and Scorpion peppers to take our guests and blast them off into orbit… if they’re not there already. And if they’re not there even after number seven, well they most certainly will be there after number eight.”

Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity Hot Sauce

“The Greek philosopher Heraclitus said, “The only constant in life is change.” Wise words, but clearly the ancient Greeks were not thinking about Hot Ones and the number eight spot because, cemented into its place – permanently – it seems that way, Da’ Bomb in the number eight spot. The sauce that launched the Shaq “I’m not gonna make a face” face. It stays.”

Puckerbutt Pepper Company Unique Garlique Hot Sauce

“Alright, moving on to number nine. You know, it’s difficult to bridge Da’ Bomb to the end of the show but if there’s one man who’s up for the task it’s Smokin’ Ed Currie. The latest nine spotter from Puckerbutt combines Ed’s famous Carolina Reaper, Scorpion and 7-Pot Primo peppers with a major hit of savoury garlic. Yet another reason why we always recommend to publicists that they make Hot Ones the last press engagement of the day.”

Hot Ones The Last Dab Apollo Hot Sauce

“Alright, and moving on to number ten, it’s the Gold bottle. As always our journey up Mount Scoville ends in a blaze of glory with The Last Dab Apollo. It’s Smokin’ Ed’s Apollo Pepper in its fresh, powder and pure chilli distillate form.”
